Cauliflower Crust Pizza

For those who are low-carbing the cauliflower crust pizza has been doing the rounds on the internet for some time.  If you would like a recipe you can do a web search for cauliflower crust pizza and you will get a wide selection of instructions.  The basic premise is to exchange the bread element of pizza for a base of cauliflower, egg, cheese, herbs and seasoning.  Here’s how I made mine; firstly I pulverised florets of cauliflower in a food processor.

Secondly, I microwaved the cauliflower “rice” and squeezed out the moisture.
Thirdly, I mixed in one egg, mozarella, oregano, salt and pepper.
Then I smooshed the mixture in to a circle on baking parchment on a baking tray.
Baked it.
Added various pizza toppings, more cheese!  Baked it again.
Ta-da!!
Demolished it 🙂
It was tasty and low-carb too.  I would recommend giving it a go.
