Melanie Makes Meringues Disappearing Scraps Quilt
I used fabric from my stash and a lot of material I got at last summer’s Fat Quarterly Retreat to make this quilt. I entered some material in to an “ugly fabric swap” at the retreat, the fabric I put in was hideous but what I pulled out was beautiful. Win Win. If I remember rightly I found the pattern on Flickr, it’s called Disappearing Scraps.

Debbie, the brilliant longarm quilter, quilted it with a design called Sticky Buns.
I gave it to my sister for a Christmas present, here she is on Christmas Day!
