Cutting + sticking + sewing + baking. My creative life.

Finished At Last!

Well, this was a long haul!  I dyed and printed the fabrics for this wall hanging at Committed to Cloth.  My intention was to learn to piece a single curve.

On the design board.

The machine quilting took a long time.
And pulling the threads in on the back of the piece seemed to take forever!

Cutting to size.
With just the facings to put on.
Hanging in my clinic waiting room.
I’m enjoying having a new quilt in the waiting area, the previous one was there for three years!  I have dyed and printed a new palette of cloth in blues and oranges and started a new improvisational wall hanging with the intention of learning to piece a double curve.  There’s always something to learn!
