Melanie Makes Meringues To Wales with Love
I have been waiting to show you these projects for a while. I had to wait until they had been safely received as they were made for friends of mine who have emigrated to Wales. My friend sent me a large bag of fabric when she moved house recently and in the spirit of ‘Ready Steady Cook’ I took that bag of ‘ingredients’ and tried to make them in to something delicious.
I made a nine-patch lap quilt with this Laura Ashley fabric.
That will keep them warm on those cold, Welsh evenings!
For their daughter I made a doll quilt.
For their son I used some kichen curtaining fabric and I made ‘Asparagus Man!’.
Don’t you think asparagus is sorely under-represented within the realm of superheroes?
